Lawrencetown Lodge offers half-day and full-day kayak and paddleboard rentals to explore the beautiful waters of Porters Lake, a unique 19 km long lake connected to the Atlantic Ocean, with freshwater in the north and brackish saltwater in the south. With several nearby launch areas just minutes from the Lodge, you can choose the perfect paddle for your desired distance, scenery, and experience level. Along the way, keep an eye out for cormorants, loons, a variety of ducks, seals, otters, and even bald eagles soaring overhead.

• Rentals are available as full-day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or half-day (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM) from May 1st to October 31st.

• Kayaks and paddleboards are rented on a self-guided basis and are for lake use only. Equipment must be transported by the renter and returned to the Lodge office. Renter must be 19 years of age or older to rent.

• PFDs (life jackets) are provided and must be worn at all times while using the kayaks or paddleboards.

• All renters are required to read and sign a waiver, and a deposit will be secured at the time of rental.
