Check in & check out times?

Our check in time is 4pm on day of arrivel & check out time is 10am on day of depature. No late checkouts as a lot of work goes into ensuing our wood fired hot tubs are ready for the next reservation.
If you are arriving early, let us know and we can suggest things you can do around the area while you’re waiting.

Pet friendly?

We’re happy to welcome dogs at the lodge! Pets are permitted in our cabins, with a maximum of 1-2 dogs per cottage depending on the booking. A pet fee of $20 + HST per dog per night applies and includes a dog bed, dish, and additional cleaning. Please prebook your pet stay at the time of booking or call us to have them added to your booking.

For the comfort of all guests, dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside and may not roam to other cottages. Pets may not be left unattended in the cabin unless crated, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Dogs are not permitted on furniture at any time.

If you need pet care during your stay, we’re happy to recommend a local boarding kennel.

How do we use the wood fired hot tub?

1. The tote beside your wood fired hot tub is filled with wood, kindling and paper.

2. Crumple up about 5 pieces of paper and lay on the bottom of the stove.

3. Take out 6-8 pieces of kindling and layer them on the paper - light the paper with your lighter.

4. Look on your stove pipe and you’ll see a draft (it looks like a hook) with 5 holes - make sure your draft is on the top hole.

5. Leave door of the stove open until the kindling catches and gets going. Once going, start adding smaller logs on top of the kindling.

6. Now please move your draft to the second hole.

7. Once you have a nice, fire going in your stove, move the draft to the third hole. This is where you’ll want to leave it.

8. Add logs as necessary to reach your desired temperature. These wood fired hot tubs heat ~10°F (12.2°C) an hour. Please be careful to not heat the water above 102°F (38.9°C). Each hot tub has a thermometer submerged within the water for reference. *heating water above 110°F (43.3°C) will damage our wood fired hot tubs*
   
   If you wish to rent a bath robe during your stay please reach out to the lodge office to book your robe at $15 +HST per stay, upon availability.

What is the refund policy?

All reservations can be cancelled with a full refund (minus the processing/booking fee) up to 14 days before arrival. After this time, no refund will be available for cancellations as it doesn’t give us enough time to resell your date!
